POSTPONED Spring Equinox Celebration!

Celebrate the first day of Spring with Among the Ferns and The Milford Treehouse! 

This nature-based celebration will feature hands-on activities, Spring songs, crafts, and more. We'll have a few wild foraged teas and treats to sample as well as plenty of ways to dive into nature play! 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Activities are geared towards children ages 3-10, but younger/worn siblings are welcome. **This is a child/caregiver event, so all children must be accompanied by an adult. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

This event will be held primarily outdoors (*weather permitting) in front of The Milford Treehouse and in The Old Lumberyard Shops courtyard. Families are encouraged to arrive and engage with hands-on stations including creating flower crowns, sensory bins, natural dyeing, muddy play, and natural history displays. You'll have the opportunity to taste wild foraged teas and treats, and we'll learn about the Spring Equinox through stories, songs, and a short nature walk. 

*Please keep in mind that if we need to move inside due to extreme weather, this event will be limited to 12 children. 

HOW TO PREPARE

There will be opporutnities to get messy at this event, so please plan accordingly. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, and dress to play outside. 

PRICING

$10 per child, $12 if bringing a sibling. Registration is required.
