About the event
Join Among the Ferns naturalist and nature-based educator, Emily Woodmansee, for a nature play pop-up at Brandwein Nature Learning Preserve and come see what we’re all about: child-led nature play! There's no wrong way to nature play, but it might be challenging to know where to start. Gather with other Earthy families and spend some time exploring, learning about, and celebrating nature.
WHAT TO EXPECT
When you arrive, feel free to explore a few play invitations and settle into our space. We'll offer a brief welcome circle and then hit the trails. Activities might include fort building, fairy houses, snow and ice play, and so much more! This pop-up is entirely child-led, so plan to play and engage with your child as they explore and connect with nature.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Children ages 0-100 years are welcome to join us (children under 21 must be accompanied by an adult) for a few hours of outdoor fun.
IS THERE A FEE TO ATTEND?
This event is an opportunity to learn more about nature play groups and Among the Ferns, so it is free! A suggested donation of $10/family will go to support Among the Ferns and nature connection opportunities for the community.
